Once again, we’re reminded that 3D printing is already a reality instead of a a distant pipe dream. In this case, Matt Bunting at the University of Arizona Robotics and Neural Systems Laboratory, used a Dimension 3D printer to create a unique hexapod robot with geometry that couldn’t be easily manufactured using traditional CNC tools and technology.
